Stars Appeal campaign

Breast Care Fund

The Stars Appeal Breast Care fund improves the lives of local people undergoing treatment for breast cancer at Salisbury District Hospital.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. At Salisbury District Hospital around 200 local women and a small number of men are diagnosed each year - that's about 4 per week.

Donations to the Breast Care Fund help local people affected by breast cancer to get the best treatment, information and support from Salisbury District Hospital; the latest information ensures patients are well informed about every aspect of their breast cancer journey; regular training courses allow nursing staff to offer the best possible support and care and state-of-the art equipment helps provide the best possible patient treatment.
