Father Christmas & his elves delivered an extra special Christmas present yesterday. Instead of a sleigh, he drove a crane, delivering a brand new MRI scanner through the roof into the brand new Stars Appeal MRI Scanning Suite made possible by the many brilliant Stars Appeal donors and fundraisers who supported our MRI Scanner Campaign.
This is just the first stage of the project – in 2021, the second MRI Scanner, funded entirely by donations and fundraising, will arrive and be placed in the heart of the Hospital.
