Meet the people here in our latest supporters’ update Your continued support and fundraising for the Stars Appeal carries on at a terrific pace for which we are truly grateful. With your help, earlier this year we reached our target to fund a second MRI Scanner which will soon be helping thousands of local people each year.
We now ask for your continued support as we strive to raise the £1million we need to keep funding life-changing projects around the Hospital which offer direct, practical support to patients and their families. It’s our pleasure and privilege to introduce you to some of these people over the following pages Update2019. Their stories are inspirational and we thank them for allowing us to share them with you.
Of course, the projects detailed here represent just a small handful of examples of the charity’s work. Every day, throughout the Hospital, fundraising, donations and legacies are helping local people get better faster, return home sooner and have a more positive hospital experience. This only happens because of you.
